Transit of Venus

What you are looking at won’t happen again for another 105 years. And that is the transit of Venus. As you look at the photos, I know what your thinking… “Steve must have not cleaned his lens again.” But I assure you, the lens was clean and that little black dot you see in the photos is the planet Venus crossing the sun. To put things in perspective, Venus is sometimes referred to as our sister planet. Meaning its size is only slightly small than Earth. So with that, I look at these photos and realize how big the sun really is. Remember… if you like it, share it!
