As most of you know, I have a love/hate relationship with the moon. Love it when I can photograph it, hate it when it hides. But wow… last night was spectacular! It’s called the Strawberry Moon. Native Americans called it the strawberry moon. Not only for its pink hue that happens near the horizon in the month of June, but also for the short season which strawberries can be harvested. This was shot in Arvada, CO about 13 miles from Denver using a 400mm lens.
Here is a short, and I mean short, 3 second time-lapse on the Strawberry Moon

Mmmmmm….makes me hungry for those juicy berries! Great shot, Steve! As much as you love/hate da moon, you sure do it justice :).
