What a long night for just one photo. You would think that going to Red Rocks would be a photo opportunity to take tons of pictures. But I went there just to take one. Started shooting about 10pm. Would have started earlier, but due to fumbling in the dark, and three close encounters of the skunk kind, I got off to a late start. This is what you call star-trail photography. Where you leave the camera’s shutter open for a long time. I won’t go into the technical details of how I got the shot, but it ended up being a 50 minute exposure.
