Day 1–Spent the entire day at Hanging Lake. Practically a 1 mile, rock stair climb, ascending 1000 feet to a beautiful waterfall and lake. Getting up to the top was a little difficult considering I was carrying a 44 pound backpack full of camera gear.
It’s funny how you become the resident Hanging Lake photographer when you have all this camera gear. They lined up to ask if I could take their picture in front of the lake. Well… I didn’t mind. When you’re waiting a few hours for the time-lapse dolly to do it’s thing, ya have a little time on your hands. I met a lot of nice people up there and had fun trying to explain what this contraption I had was. But sadly, no one offered to help carry it down the mountain.
