Since the first shoot I did with Verdict Vodka, I couldn’t wait to get messy again. And it just so happened that I got a bottle of Emil Stimple Straight Bourbon Whiskey from my friends over at Frankfort Spirits. A small batch distillery in my hometown of Frankfort, IL. I spent some time researching and learning about whiskey before planning my shoot. Everything from the types of barrels used to glass wear. I sourced authentic bourbon barrels from Rocky Mountain Barrel Company. And for the past few days, my studio smelled wonderful! I think I was getting tipsy just from the fumes! I also sourced some reclaimed wood from The WoodGuys in Denver, CO. I wanted that old, used, beat-up floor look and they had exactly what I was looking for.
Soooo… I won’t tell you how much time I spent shooting this. But I sure had a good time! (hiccup) And of course, I added a couple of behind the scenes videos which is always fun to watch. Enjoy! (hiccup) Zzzzzzzz…..
