I really don’t know where to begin with this blog posting! There are so many great stories and photos from shooting this wedding that I need to remind myself now to keep it short. I’ve known Jennine for quite a few years through work and same goes for Andrew when he used to work at Integer. My friend, Ambur Cole, was already shooting the wedding, and asked if I can be her second shooter again. It’s so much fun working with Ambur. If you are looking for a photographer that specializes life’s precious moments, take a look at Ambur’s website. Or find her on Facebook here. She has such a great style to her photography.
So I won’t tell you how many pictures I took, but let’s just say it was well covered! Everything from emotional to hilarious. Even comedian and former SNL cast member, Jim Breuer got in on the fun! And might I add, he was one of the nicest celebrities I’ve met. As he was getting into his car, he looked at me and smiled. Then I said, “Jim, would you be willing to take a photo with the groom?” He gets out of his car, and says “Sure! Where is he?” as we walk back to the hotel to take photos. Very cool!
Oh… back to the wedding… well, what can I say. It was a beautiful wedding with the ceremony at St. Ignatius Church in Denver and a reception held at Kevin Taylors at the Opera House. And some of my favorite photos are the first look at the corner of Fourteenth and Curtis. This is where the couple see each other for the first time. The anticipation and drama knowing that one another are right around the corner creates such an amazing experience. I think we had everyone on the street crying. 🙂 Congratulations you two!
